What is Moda Trade?

Moda Trade is a decentralized derivatives exchange with an efficient single liquidity vault, in which traders can trade synthetic assets, such as cryptocurrency, forex, stocks, index, commodities, etc.

What is mUSDT Vault?

The mUSDT Vault is imitating the ERC-4626 standard vault that tokenizes the vault’s PnL into mUSDT price automatically. It provides liquidity for synthetic assets trading in Moda Trade, which brings traders with a seamless and stable trading experience.

What is mUSDT?

mUSDT is an BEP-20 token that represents ownership of deposited USDT and its earnings. Liquidity providers deposit USDT into mUSDT Vault and mint mUSDT tokens.

What kind of asset can I use to trade?

For security and uniformity, Moda Trade’s first version allows trading with USDT as collateral.

What is USDT?

USDT is the most widely adopted stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar at 1 to 1 with a matching fiat currency and is backed 100% by Tether’s reserves.

How to keep my assets on Moda Network safe?

Moda Network is non-custody, which means all of your assets are in your own wallet. And all trades on-chain need your authorization and confirmation.

How can I deposit funds to start trading?

Moda Network is deployed on BNB chain. Users can deposite USDT on BNB chain, or bridge USDT from other chains, such as Ethereum or Arbitrum.

What if the asset I want to trade is not listed?

Assets are listed on Moda Trade when they have a reliable trading experience based on the availability of solid price sources. Users can propose to list new assets by holding $MODA.

Why are Stocks/Forex/Commodities markets closed sometimes?

Unlike crypto markets, stocks, forex and commodities markets are not open 24/7. Please refer to Forex Trading, and Commodities Trading.

What is slippage?

Slippage is the difference between the initial entry point of an order and the average price after it has been fully executed. The default slippage is 1%, which can be customized by traders.

Why is price impact necessary?

Price impact is the change in token price directly caused by your trade. Price Impact reflects the difference between the current market price and your order impact to the total liquidity.

Is there a minimum position size?

The minimum position size is 1,500 USDT, which is calculated by your collateral multiplied by your leverage. You can use 300 USDT collateral with 5x leverage, your position will be at 300*5=1,500USDT.

When will my position be liquidated?

Once your position reaches the liquidation line, it will be closed by the liquidation bot.

Will my position be closed, even though I make profit?

Yes, we will automatically close your position when your profit reaches 900%, in order to maintain the stability of the vault and avoid illegal arbitrage attacks when oracles break down. The precise number will be adjusted based on the actual situation of the Vault and PnL.

What are the functions of the $MODA?

$MODA is Moda Network’s utility token and governance token using the BEP-20 standard. Holders can earn protocol revenue and gain voting rights by staking $MODA.
